A braided glacial river running out of a snow-capped valley in the Chugach

How it works

You set the watch. We do the waiting.

No midnight calendar-refreshing. No screen-scraping scripts of your own. Just an alert when the cabin you want finally opens.

01

Put a watch on the dates you want

Pick a cabin or yurt from the catalog, or watch a whole region, and tell us the window you’re hoping for. Standard members watch specific places; Pro members can watch an entire area and let any opening surface.

02

We check on a steady, polite cycle

yurtalerts re-checks the booking sites for you around the clock, with hard rate limits and a self-identifying, contactable user agent. One patient scout doing the rounds, gentle enough that we (and you) stay welcome on their sites.

03

A held night flips to open

Someone cancels. The site quietly updates. yurtalerts catches that change on its next pass and recognizes it as a fresh opening worth pinging you about.

04

You get the alert, with the link

We email you the moment it opens, with a deep link to that exact cabin and those exact dates on the operator’s booking page. From there you book and pay them directly.

The rule we don’t bend

A scout, never a booking agent.

The fastest way to ruin a service like this is to abuse the booking sites until they shut it down, or to get between you and the operator. So we don’t.

  • We never hold inventory or take payment for a stay.
  • We never log into operator systems or automate a booking.
  • We identify ourselves on every request and honor rate limits and robots rules.
  • If an operator ever asks us to stop watching their site, we stop first and talk after.

It’s slower than a bot that hammers a calendar. It’s also the version that keeps working.

Ready to stop missing them?

yurtalerts is invite-only. Request a spot and tell us which cabins you’re chasing.
